Weather: within 16 days of a race, this page loads the live forecast for the start time. Before that, it shows the typical conditions for that time of year. Mornings in Colorado are usually close to the day's low, so dress for the start, not the high.
Before you go
- Confirm details: details for 2026–27 come from each race's site as of November 2026. Re-check the official page the week of the race, especially start times and packet pickup hours.
- Tortoise & Hare: FCRC membership is required. Registration opens 3 weeks before each race and closes at noon the Friday before. There's no race-day registration.
- Night before: pin your bib on, lay out clothes for the start temperature, and charge your watch.
